Greenbank, Washington

This island home, situated in the heart of Whidbey Island, provided a blank canvas to design a dream home for the new homeowners. The exterior design utilized the existing coastal cabin façade theme and transformed into a clean, modern look that complements the wooded surroundings.

REDMOND garage + RESIDENCE

Redmond, Washington

This home, situated on a large, landscaped lot in Redmond provided an opportunity for a major interior remodel including new kitchen, art studio, bedroom reconfiguration, 2nd floor lounge area, accessible features, new exterior entry ramp, and a new exterior entry porch roof feature. Additionally, the existing detatched garage was enlarged to a 3-car garage with a large bay for the homeowner’s RV

Murphy Residence

Paradise Valley, Arizona – La Place du Sommet

Designed for a client with Art Deco taste, this home has to grab tenaciously to the side of a steep cliff. A collection of 1927 thru 1930 art deco furniture was the inspiration for the aesthetic and interior finishes. The interior materials of beach and mahogany woods, stamped metal panels, polished stone and terrazzo floor were chosen to tie into the clients antique deco pieces.

Shaufler residence

Paradise Valley, Arizona – La Place du Sommet

A long driveway wrapping behind the home allows visitors to enjoy the spectacular views to the valley floor and mountains beyond. The home mixes custom burnished smooth concrete block with a stucco finish. A crisp modern geometry was highlighted with strong cantilever roofs. Curvilinear soffits and ceilings along with custom wall finishes create soft interior spaces to enjoy while taking in the views.

Beskind residence

Paradise Valley, Arizona – La Place du Sommet

This award winning cliff side residence in the Arizona Sonoran Desert incorporated the rugged site, drainage patterns and panoramic vistas into a very comfortable and unique home. The design included bridging a natural free falling wash under the great room of the home.
